이온폴리스가 '25 혁신바우처 우수사례집'에 우수기업 사례로 소개되었습니다.

이온폴리스는 탄소바우처의 제품 컨설팅(디자인·제작 컨설팅)과 기술지원(시제품 제작, 금형 제작 및 설계) 프로그램을 통해, 아이디어 단계의 제품을 3D 설계와 목업 제작으로 외관·구조·조립성을 미리 확인하고 금형 제작 전 양산 가능성을 검토하는 개발 체계를 갖추었습니다. 기존의 '일단 만들고 고치는 방식'에서 '만들기 전에 확인하고 고치는 방식'으로 제품개발 프로세스 자체를 전환한 것이 이번 지원의 핵심 성과로 소개되었습니다.

이 같은 변화는 실질적인 경영 성과로도 이어졌습니다. 지원 전인 2024년 67억 원이었던 매출은 2025년 94억 원으로 약 40.5% 증가하였으며, 직원 수는 31명에서 41명으로 약 32% 증가하였습니다.

지식재산권 현황도 확대되어, 지원 전 특허 등록 1건·디자인 출원 20건이던 것이 지원 후에는 특허 출원 1건·디자인 등록 20건·상표 출원 1건으로 늘었으며, 자체 품질시험장비 4종을 구축해 자체 시험·검증 기반도 마련하였습니다.

이온폴리스는 앞으로도 친환경 제품개발과 기술 고도화를 이어가며, 폐아이스팩의 SAP를 활용한 새활용 제품처럼 버려지는 자원에 새로운 쓰임을 부여하는 친환경 기술을 지속적으로 발전시켜 나갈 계획입니다. 

아울러 제품 기획 단계부터 디자인·기능·사용성·생산성을 함께 검토하는 개발 체계를 강화해 시장 경쟁력을 높여가겠습니다.

IONPOLIS has been featured as a success story in the "2025 Innovation Voucher Best Practice Casebook."

Through the program's product consulting (design and manufacturing consulting) and technical support (prototyping, mold production and design), IONPOLIS built a development process that verifies a product's appearance, structure, and assembly through 3D design and mock-ups before mold production, checking mass-production feasibility in advance. The casebook highlights this shift — from a "build first, fix later" approach to a "verify before building" approach — as the core achievement of the support program.

This shift also translated into measurable business results. Revenue grew from KRW 6.7 billion in 2024 to KRW 9.4 billion in 2025, an increase of about 40.5%, while the workforce grew from 31 to 41 employees, an increase of about 32%. Intellectual property holdings also expanded: from 1 registered patent and 20 filed design applications before the program, to 1 filed patent application, 20 registered designs, and 1 filed trademark application afterward. IONPOLIS also established an in-house quality testing infrastructure with four types of testing equipment.

IONPOLIS will continue to advance eco-friendly product development and technological innovation, including upcycling technologies such as using SAP from discarded ice packs, while strengthening a development process that considers design, function, usability, and manufacturability from the earliest planning stage.
